Kalpana Barman: Stitching Dreams and Empowering Futures in Patharghata Joradhigi, Thanks to Vishwasi Sangati

KALPANA BARMAN :- My name is Kalpana Barman, 19 years old. I am residing in the Patharghata Joradhigi village, Darjeeling Dt, West Bengal. I am staying with my Parents two elder brothers, one elder sister. I am studying in Munshi Premchand Maha Vidyalai in B.A second year in the College. From the age of 14 I was having the interest to know about the sewing, when I was in studying in Class X.

When I start to attend here about the machine I get to learn about the parts, about how it functions and how to use. Even learned to stitch straight in the paper and also learn the paper cutting. We even learned the hamming stitching. In future I am planning to work in the factory for earning the money. I want to thank to the Vishwasi Sangati for giving us such a great privilege to come and learn here properly.
